Overview
Keckle is a strange little idle word engine: part clicker, part atmosphere piece, part online toy. It starts instantly in the browser, then lets players attach guest sync or a real Bivouac account so their save can follow them and eventually plug into future studio mini games.
Key Features
- Instant local play: Jump in immediately with browser-only progress and no signup wall
- Guest-first cloud sync: Start as a guest, then upgrade into a full account later without losing your run
- Shared community board: Broadcast your best score into a live leaderboard and recent activity feed
- Studio-wide identity foundation: The auth layer is designed to become the shared Bivouac account system across future mini games
- Strong visual tone: Warm metallic gradients, cryptic copy, and tactile click feedback give the prototype its own personality
Design Notes
Keckle is intentionally small, but it now carries a larger responsibility: proving out the shared account, save, and leaderboard layer that future Bivouac web and Unity mini games can reuse. That makes it a playable prototype and a platform seed at the same time.
